The incorporation of the basalt fibers is designed to reduce unwanted frame vibration while not compromising the responsiveness and rigidity of the graphite. The BLX Blade Tour retains the Karophite Black material from the previous version, which ensured a solid response and high levels of control. Karophite Black is a method of crosslinking the layers of graphite for greater strength and rigidity for enhanced stability. The heavier weight, combined with the small headsize and dense 18×20 string pattern make sure that players know this is a demanding racquet with strong players in mind.
