What is a lob volley?
The lob volley is a specialty shot, it’s similar to a volley, where you would strike the ball down into the court. The trouble is it takes touch and in not hit down into the court , but up like a normal lob. This shot is strict upwards, just over the height of the incoming Net rushing player. Also, the net player who would be already at the net and really it’s a bump Lob like a bunt in baseball, you bunted up and it travels over his head and lands near the baseline.
