What are formations in doubles?
the two common or most common formations used are, one is called conventional. where you see the net player standing at the net on the opposite side of the server and then the server getting ready to present the ball with the serve and that is called conventional! the other style or the other type of formation is called Aussie or (i) formation with the net player stands directly in front of the server on the same side of the court and the server standing in the middle near center hash-mark, this allows the server the best position for serves up the middle. The serves from the center helps the server cover lobs very easily.
