Match your playing to your skills and motivation to learn!!
Lessons should be geared to the student’s style to provide a better learning situation that is more enjoyable to beginners, intermediates and advanced players. The goal is to optimize the present stroke skills you have and develop new habits that will enhance those skills for more success. In the learning process your focus should be to practice the stroke without concern about winning. This is truly a challenge for the intermediate and the beginner. They are under some sort of pressure to be Roger Federer in six months. The second major concern is to get the ball in and over the net to win points regardless of the form. All players fall into the trap of competition. The will to win is greater than the will to develop a skill.
