- Leave the opponent’s racquet

- Point of contact (keep head down)
- Exaggerate the follow-through
- Stroke smoothly (as opposed to “hit “ hard)
- Wide stance
- Knees bent
- Keep head down at point of impact
- Height over net- primary target
- Visualize target bulls-eye 3 feet over net
- Target inside lines –secondary target
