The Follow-through

1

The Follow-through is the most important part of the swing. The players who keep the racquet out and extended will keep the face of the racquet in the way of the ball the longest. This means that the player can miss-time the ball and still get it to go where they intended to hit the shot. The right arm is opposite the left shoulder and with the edge of the racquet pointing towards the shot. This also allows all the power of the shot to go in the direction you intend to hit the ball. The balance point is also forward so the shot does not go long.
