Head YouTek IG Prestige Midplus

A fusion of history and innovation, the Head YouTek IG Prestige Midplus combines classic feel and control with space-age improvements to create a racquet unlike any other. The newest piece of the puzzle, Innegra Technology, integrates a series of melt-spun fibers into the racquet matrix. These fibers, which were originally designed for the surfboard industry, offer strength and durability without adding weight. An extra benefit when placed within the graphite matrix is that the flex characteristics help to dampen vibration and increase the comfort level. The YouTek IG Prestige Midplus takes advantage of the dynamic d3O material to provide a custom response based on your needs. The smart material is designed to offer increased rigidity on faster swings, but still remain soft on touch shots. Our testing staff enjoyed the stability of this racquet from the baseline and mentioned that it had a softer feel than the previous version. The amount of spin that was generated on ground strokes was surprisingly high for the dense string pattern. In addition to experiencing less vibration with the IG model, the sweet spot also felt larger, resulting in a touch more power.
