What is the backswing?

Backswing is the movement of the racket after the preparation stage. The movement as it travels downward and just before it moves towards the point contact is backswing. the length of time of the backswing is typically decreased as the ball travels faster at you, and then the length of the backswing can be increased if the ball travels slow towards you. so backswing is the moving of the racket after the preparation stage to get racket head speed and power.
