The gauge, the type of string it is determines playability, if it’s a Poly versus highbred versus Wound, versus the synthetic there are different types of strings, the gauge and the type of string dictates how we choose how much feel we have for the ball on the racket. Gamma, strings are radiated to make them more playable, a fiber string also adds playability and feel. Gut string are the best and most playable of all strings but also the most expensive, running 70$ to 80$ installed. The durability is poor and cold and wet conditions effect the life of the string. The best in all areas of feel, but not for most recreational players .
