What’s better a high shot or a low ?
High shots over the net are what the pros play. the average ball height is about 4 feet above the height of the net. the perception by the recreational player is just hit the ball low to the net which is really incorrect, if you get the ball high you can hit the ball over the net and land it deep in the court versus hitting it low to the net and land it short. the depth in court Is far more important than power in the outcome of the Shot, if you keep the ball deep, you win lots of matches.
