It’s all about power with the introduction of the Yonex EZONE Xi 115 tennis racquet. The first super-oversize racquet in the EZONE family, this one brims with power potential. EZONE Xistands for “Extra Isometric” which delivers an even more expanded sweet spot than any other racquet, offering increased forgiveness and power. The Quad Power System is designed with additional graphite reinforcements at the shoulders of the frame to provide increased stability for more consistent power. The EZONE Xi 115 also uses the NeoFadematerial, a dampening polymer, at the corner to reduce vibration for comfort. A completely new development, the SD (Shock Dampening) Grid is inserted into the handle and shaft of the frame between the tubes of the frame to limit shock from reaching the hand. Another evolutionary step was to create a new Oval Pressed Shaft (O.P.S.) throat beam that introduces rounder corners for power while the wider face increases stability. By far the most powerful racquet in the Yonex line, this one offers easy depth for players with compact swings. Our testers felt that this racquet was well suited to consistent play from the baseline using shorter strokes as well as moving forward to take advantage of the light weight.
