Avery M3 Power
Based off the belief that with greater weight comes greater ball speed, the Avery M3 Power alters the Control model for improved depth and pace. In honoring the traditional graphite construction, the 12.7 ounce weight takes an adjustment but provides one of the most stable frames our testing staff has ever tried. The 95 square inch head of the M3 Power features more weight in the head, measuring 7 points head light for more than enough plough-through feeling. Our testing staff took a bit of time to adjust to the high swing weight, but when contact is made, there is no feeling of any instability or loss of control. While we did not feel that the racquet was particularly powerful, it did provide plenty of depth and good penetration. A unique frame, this one felt best suited to baseliners due to the extreme stability which did take away a bit from maneuverability
