Double break on volley
Whether your volleying with the forehand side or backhand side, make sure your racket head is above your wrist and grip. This is easiest to do with a continental grip, however, several recreational players use eastern forehand grips or even a semi-western grip. With your racket hand, keep your wrist BROKEN as well as your arm at the elbow as you prepare to volley. This double break ‘theme’ is a good ‘memory devise’ when you are out their on the court competing.
