What are three types of lobs?
The tennis player uses three different shots on the lob: the topspin lob, which is the most offenses it clears the net over the player and At a medium-high position, but when it hits the ground it runs away due to the spin and travels to the back fence quickly. The backspin lob which travels again over the net player is more defense in its manner, but still clears over the net players, then we have the moon ball. the moon ball travels very very high to get the player back in position. This is why they fire this lob as far up as possible so they can possibly strike it and land it in the court. This is to give you lots of time to get back in position.
