What is image imagery?
The imagery for the tennis player is the visual in the mind perception. This is what is going to happen, the player tends to see the play before the play occurs. This is in his mental image in his head. The how to- what he wants the play to pan out, and players do that to develop skills in anticipation prepare the mind to see the possible play in advance of the execution.
