What are the two types of forces we used to generate power in a tennis shot?
The tennis players today used primarily angular momentum and then the other type would be a linear momentum this is the up-and-down movement when we strike a ball where knees go from low to high. The angular is the rotational force that we used to strike the ball, rotational example is think of a top spinning and that’s angular without up and down. The tennis players today are primarily using angular for the power and rotational force of the upper body and legs as they strike the ball, and this movement promotes efficiency when you are recovering to get back to the middle of the court.
