The slice backhand is typically done with one hand, it can be done with two as a disguise in a two-handed stroke, but typically done with one hand the path of the racket needs to travel similar to an airplane landing in a very subtle decline as contact is made. The path of racket after that then finishes up and forward to make sure the ball will clear the net. The example is look at a banana from the side, or a smile that is the flight path.
